PCPI is committed to improving the life, maximizing the independence of people with cerebral palsy and establishing their constructive roles in society. This is mainly accomplished through early intervention, guided adaptive living and therapy, as well as preventive education and training of families and health care workers.
Since its inception, there have been about 20,000 children diagnosed. Approximately 60 children are seen daily for their various scheduled therapies with about 100 new cases seen and evaluated per year. Current patient load includes 125 - 140 children with CP from different cities and municipalities throughout the country. No fees are required, although donations are encouraged from those that can afford it.
Should you wish to contribute to PCPI and help them support their meaningful advocacy, please email their Center Administrator, Ms. Marianita L. Ong at cerebralpalsyinc@yahoo.com. |
